I'd like to see simple ad banner rotation built into eblah as an option.  Random start banner with a timed rotation to either random or iteration would be cool.

I have banner running on one of my forums, this is an external script, but you can find plenty that will do the job, the one I use displays a random add each time to page is refreshed, see it in action at http://www.minilabhelp.com/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?

Just add the banner code to your template.

Just add the banner code to your template.

I'm using wwwAdvert on my site which works well both with PHP and Perl pages [in spite of terrible documentation] but integrating it into eblah is proving to be tricky.

Using an SSI in the template did not work for me...  Should it?  This is what I added to the template...
<!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/banners/468x60/WWWAdvertsSSI.cgi?En&advert"-->

This works on an shtml page...

In a differnet script I have called the wwwAdverts banner script by requiring wwwAdverts and using
print &Adverts(time, "En", "advert");

Not sure if I could do that in eblay since it's using this template...

Help?
