Hi All

I post code snippets on my eBlah site but now and then want to delete attachments and replace them.

I can delete them but not replace can this be changed?

When you modify a post you can only edit text not the attachment can this be changed???

Any help would be great...

J

Try looking in the Admin Control panel for attachments and you can manipulate most of them from there.

As for deleting attachments from the posts and adding new ones.. have you tried doing this using your "admin login privileges" ??

This is currently not available, but I would LOVE this feature.  I'll ask Justin - it shouldn't be too much of a difficult thing to do.

It'd be a difficult thing to do.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Me too, because no matter how clear we make it to members they will insist on posting images that are too wide for the screen. So at the moment I copy the pic, resize it in Paint Shop Pro then I have to FTP it back up to the forum.

And if someone does it from an external URL then you obviously can't do the above so have to repost the pic as a seperate post.

Would be much easier if admin could delete the pic, resize and then simply re attach to the post, or add a limiting feature on the width similar to the sizing constraints on Avatars

For images there is a mod  http://www.eblah.com/forum/m-1147022792/

You need imagemagic installed, most hosts have it installed as standard and if not will normally install it for you. It works very well, I have no problems on my boards.
