I would like to redo the entire ban process and make it more user/admin friendly.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to make it better ... let me know.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Hmm, right now I find it a bit sophisticated with all those ban groups and stuff.

What I'd find ideal to have, is a link in the admin CP navbar (and only one, no other things about banning (except for the link in each users member panel) anywhere else in the forum) where you can enter the ban panel. There you should see a nice list of all the banned users (only one entry per user, even if he tried to register a new acc.), and if you click on one of these entries, you see detailed information about this user (for example, attempts to regain access, ip-addresses, different accounts, a button to unban him/her, etc.)

Just an idea.

The ban would be simpler to use if just selecting the user's name was sufficient to ban them using their name, email, and IPs to date as one command.

We currently have to go dig these out and input them separately in a ban list, and there doesn't seem to be any reason to omit any of them, as it just leaves a hole for the banned member to find and get in through.

IP bans are kind of useless, as most ISPs hand out random IPs each time a member connects (some of banned pests have dozens listed). I don't know what exactly the dynamic and super-dynamic IP bans do, so may be mentioning something that already exists, but since login attempts by Banned users are already IP logged, it would be handy if the IP from these attempts were automatically added to the IP ban list.
