Okay, I need some testers who can test this within the next 24 hours and let me know as many bugs as possible.  The entire backend is redone (the front end is a little diffrent too, but some of it will change and look all "purty").  But I need any bugs in the code to be reported here.  Attach a file with the bad .v2m file in a message so that I will be able to look at the file and figure out what is wrong with the mod center.

Note that OLD mods WILL NOT work with this new system, and this system will be used in P9.  If you find the old version works better after release, you can use it by replacing the SourceCodeMod.pl file ... but I want to get this fully working if at all possible.

Note:

Blah.pl?b=,v=admin,a=sourcemod,p=edit

Go there to make a NEW mod (there isn't a link in this version for new mods yet, as I forgot to add it lol).

Yahoo's having some major problems - I'm getting messages from five hours ago.

Anyways, I uploaded this and I got a blank screen when going to the mod center.

I renamed an old mod extension to v2m and it appeared in the window, but no links to make a new mod.

By golly Justin... this is starting to work.  I made a mod on my windows server, opened it in notepad and the \n line breaks were there.  I uploaded it to Blahdocs, and did a test install and it worked!

I found a bug and how to fix it.  Under the sub SourceMod routine, you should change this:

elsif($URL{'p'} eq 'remove') { unlink("$modsdir/$URL{'m'}.v1m","$modsdir/$

to this:

elsif($URL{'p'} eq 'remove') { unlink("$modsdir/$URL{'m'}.v2m","$modsdir/$

EDIT: FIXED

Found another bug - the mod info doesn't save when I go to add a description etc.

Edit: I fixed this by adding this:

Code
</form>
<form action="$scripturl,v=admin,a=sourcemod,p=edit2,m=$URL{'m'},f=$URL{'f'},d=$URL{'d'},n=$URL{'n'},s=$URL{'n'}" method="post" name="save">

directly before:

Code
   <table cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0">
   <tr>
    <td align="right"><span class="smalltext"><b>$sourcecode[67]:</b></span></td>
    <td><input type="text" class="textinput" name="modname" value="$item{'modname'}" size="50"></td>
   </tr><tr>

Okay. Good.    See if deleting an action works.  Just work with it EXTENSIVLY.  Remember that after tonight at 9, I may not work on it ANY more (other than cosmetics).

I had Load.pl in the list for modification, but no actions in it. I had put a description but it wasn't showing.  I then opened SourceCodeMod.pl for modification and tried a replace action and then deleted it.

It deleted the action, but also deleted the mod information too. So I put the action back in SourceCode Mod.pl, but then it wouldn't show the 'Replace' link for the action - on the right. I opened the mod in notepad, and the <mod search="1"> was empty, although it still said there's an action. Mod's attached.

I hope this fixed it.  There was several bugs with the deletion and stuff.  I also fixed the other bugs.

This better work.  I'll be releasing another sometime soon with some cosmetic fixes and all.  EVERYTHING should work, make sure you test and retest the editing of mods with this also.

One last thing ... when P9 is released YOU best be making mods O.B ... I've spent a lot of work on this new mod center.

A new feature, also, will allow users to just "upload" the attachment via a simple text area, that way the user won't have to upload a .v2m file to their server.

Here's the last release of SourceCodeMod (or I hope).  I'll still fix bugs, but everything else should be good to go.  I hope you like the new "Install Log".    It's more colorful, lol.

Okay... I'm assuming you'r putting finishing touches on it? Coz I can't find it

As you know I'm making the XHTML mod from scratch again which is going to take about a week to fix EVERYTHING and do the workarounds for body onload statements n stuff.  Hopefully when that's done and installed on a forum, people won't see anything different.

Also got a mod for message display, board index and another one that makes the forum to use percentage widths (because we all know that absolute widths in html are evil).
