I tried several logo's in jpg and the animated .gif.......finally decided on a flash logo. Anybody used a flash logo for their E-Blah forum yet? Its quote compact 37kb, and loads up pretty quick. I did this in .gif too, but it was neary 800kb, so that was really not practical to use. Check it out and tell me what you think.... http://www.share.za.org |

Well acyually I lowered the resulotion on the background to take of the attention a bit, so the words can have the attention. But I took tree graphics and combine that. |

The advantage of your flash title is the small size... the disadvantages are there are still huge amounts of people surfing the internet that either hate animation or don't have flash. .gif files every browser new and old can see. Not all can see Flash.
A way to keep the resolution up without detracting from the text is to convert the background to a layer, fade the layer in something like Paintshop Pro, merge/flatten the layers... then paste it into SwishMax or whatever you use to make your flash animation. |

i did thought about something similiar but decided it was to much to do..lol....i use coreldraw. Plus the pics i used wasnt of good resulation either. I heard some browsers cant take flash or even java. But I thought thats bad luck, cause its really a shame. Nowadays, about everybody uses flash for adverts, intro's, logo's etc. Infact about all of business websites uses this. So they'll be sorry and they'll miss out in a huge presantage of what the web can offer. But i think its not much people that hates this or use browsers that can't view this. And i thought nobody can keep everybody happy |

I've found frogram which converts swf files into avi. I think it will be helpful someone. You can find it on the site geovid com Using this prog you can add your logo to the final video so you can protect you author's rights. I like it! |
