Hello! I have been working around with stylesheets and templates until I think my head is ready to pop, but I've finally got a mostly integrated bulletin board in our student group website for the Colorado winter backcountry interest.

Please check it out and tell me what you think.

I have also had to assimilate the Album.pl script and all of those associated templates and style sheets! Yikes!

Thank you E-Blah!

Great work! Only suggestion is to add nice green gradients on it.

Works fine for me - although I would say you should redo the graphic so it doesn't make users scroll sideways in ALL screen resolutions.

The title graphic is designed for an 800 px screen width, which I thought was standard now-adays. I suppose I could shrink it a little.

How exactly would I go about doing that? I'm not too familiar with HTML.

Admin -> Edit Templtaes-> Main CSS -> and add this:

.catbg {background-image: url(/static/discbg.gif); background-repeat: repeat;}

.titlebg {background-image: url(/static/discbg.gif); background-repeat: repeat;}

.windowbg {background-image: url(/static/discbg.gif); background-repeat: repeat;}

Edit /static/discbg.gif to your images. Here's a prefiew http://www.lmfaoforum.com/cgi-bin/Blah.pl

Look at the red like graphics that replaces the color of the category backgrounds and stuff.

He's talking about the title graphic.  I'm using 800x600 and the screen definitely scrolls left a bit.

Try changing your body tag to this <body class="mainbg">, and on the first two table widths of 798, change it to 100% instead.
