The show news feature of E-Blah has been "updated" a little bit in P9.    Now you can include the page like the following:

http://www.eblah.com/blahdocs/template/Shownews.xml

This file will be written to each time a post is modified or added to the forum (and your news board settings in Admin / Settings are setup for that board).  This will cut down on server load (as E-Blah won't be accessed each time the file is loaded).  Ever time a post is added it will add a Shownews.html and Shownews.xml to your ./blahdocs/template directory.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

I use the news board to tell about upcoming events.  It is best to have those events in date order (date they will occur - not date they are posted).  In a perfect world I know about every event before I post them so I can put them in the right order, but often things come up last minute and I might need to insert an event.  Right now I can only have the events in the order they are posted.

For instance, if I make a post announcing an event on March 1, then make another post for an event on March 5, and then a third post for an event on March 10, I'm okay because they are in the right order.  But then if I need to make a post for an event on March 3 after I have posted the other ones, they will show up in this order
March 1
March 5
March 10
March 3

I'd like to be able to reorder the posts so that I could keep them in the order the events will occur.

Is this possible?  I hope I've explained it well enough.
