Hi, what i would love to see added is a "goto last post" hyperlink added to the message index. In the "last action" column where it says "Last post by:", if this text or an icon beside it could actually provide a link that would take users directly to the latest post on that message that would be a real time saver for users, saving them having to scroll down to the end of the thread to see the latest post.

Just like to add that eBlah is the best flat-file forum software i have ever used. Excellent work �

Really, I should add a feature that's a little icon and goes to the last post the user actually read. Thinking about it real quick, it wouldn't be that hard .... lol.

I found an easy way to do this if anyone is interested. It works on P9 but I don't know about the new versions. It would probably have to be updated for the Mod_Rewrite stuff which I know nothing about.

Basically, in MessageIndex.pl search for this:

Code

$messageindex[16]

and replace with this:

<a href="$scripturl,m=$messid,s=$replies#num$replies">$messageindex[16]</a>

It's not the prettiest thing in the world - a button or another line would be nice, but it works!
