Save the two images, and rename them to titlebg.gif and catbg.gif.  Upload them to your /blahdocs/images directory.

Your Metal Theme is authentic Rock & Roll.

I ran into one issue.  Category descriptions add a line break, increasing height of category frame.  I wanted the background image to blend or stretch rather than repeat or stall horizontally.

I changed the catbg background-color #CCCCCC to #A5A5A7.  This worked really well.

I don't know how color safe it is in browsers other than MSIE though.

The category background shouldn't add a line break - there's nothing in the stylesheet that would.  Where did the word 'Administration' come from in the screenshot?

That is the category description that adds the line break. LOL  Admin > Edit Boards and Categories > (pick a category) > Category Description.  It started adding a line break about v 8.0 I think.

Yes but then I need category descriptions or no in all categories, and of the same number of lines, to keep consistently sized category frames.

It is my favorite theme.  What do you think of the name "Metal Mist?"
