Sorry if this has been asked before, or already exists.

I have seen some other forums where if you put the mouse on the thread title you get a bit of the body text. This is really useful, you can often decide if the thread interests you this way, it saves opening each thread, saves time.

Now I think this is both a good and a bad idea. VB has this, and at first, yea you think it is great, but then after a while, every time your mouse touches a topic, you get this "description" it then becomes a pain.. so am a little unsure if this would be good or bad

Agreed it can be a pain if it activates every time your mouse touches a topic, but if it restricted to when you mouseover on the 'subject' you got a brief description as well as the 'thread started' details then this becomes less irritating and more a matter of choice.
