I greatly appreciate the work around for adding permissions to access certain groups AND the calendar (posted here:  http://www.eblah.com/cgi-bin/bb/Blah.pl?b=btech,v=display,m=1086153281,s=0).  It would be nice if restriction to the calendar was a selectable option in a new version perhaps in the admin controls section, rather than hacking the files.

Regarding board restriction, it would be nice if that was easily selectable as well.  although the board lockout function is a good idea, it is not exactly intuitive, as well access by group is more useful.

I wanted to add that I also would very much like a selectable option to restrict calendar access to particular groups.

I may add it in a future version.
