Hi, I'm trying to make a image Theme for Eblah and my site but the only way to make this theme work is that each category has to have its own win but right now we only have one, all category use the same setting as other one. So Justin, can make a little modifying or add a little more options in CSS file like each Category has it own setting, that would be easier to create nice theme. What do u think?

With a bit of work (I'm not sure yet how much exactly), it's possible to generate CSS stylesheets on the fly with perl.

There's a working demo on my site (you can view the output directly at http://psema4.gotdns.com/cgi-bin/sitecss.cgi, but it doesn't look any different from any other CSS stylesheet) that you can play with if you want.

Please note that I am not certain how difficult it would be to integrate into eblah, since it's an external stylesheet.

simple mod would be to add ID="$catid" to the td tag, which i can work on for ya if you would like... would be put into css as #[catid]

it similarly used as .catbg, but would be #catid

lemme know

The problem is that E-Blah is table dependant...

The style on this page is dictated by tables. I am currently hacking up the latest release of E-Blah to change the table tags into div tags.

Basically, using external style sheets isnt a problem, and would work just fine... the problem is, you cant use them to dictate the style for this forum!

Having a DIV style forum would be much better, in some aspects.  But rewriting the entire forum with it would take a month or more, then a year to workout each petty little bug in it, and still you may not have a good forum system.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
