Would it be possible to create a mod that sends a standard welcome message to new users the firts time they log in containing some form of custom text? I would find this pretty useful as quite a few of the people who will register for my site wont be all that computer literate. This way I could send a quick message explaining a few details about the site.

Thanks

You can edit Languages files, as far as I know an e-mail is sent out on each new member, not sure though.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

I've tested it on my forum and no email is sent out. However, I do use the email verification feature.

I have searched the admin Center and manually looked through all of the language files but can't locate where the text included in the email is for modification. Any ideas where I might find it anyone?

Thanks

T

Ignore that. I hadn't realised that the verification email was several lines if language code. I've found the bit to sort this out in the register.pl code and have added a new line into the lng file so hopefully that will clear things up
