greeting justin
you enable the check
and then come the message:
Version Status: ** Update Recommended ... Your Version is out of Date **


but the admin can't update as ftp://ftp.eblahforums.com/incoming/ is empty and there is not any access to the cgi or to the ftp.

my idea is to let the admin (i.e.  eblahforums.com/hapoel do the update in the ftp/pub/hapoel/cgi/bin

protected by his password.

or to remove the Update Recommendation.

Hi hapoel, if you find that your version of eblah is "out of date" then the best thing to do is just visit the eblah site and grab the new version.

I think that with the latest "release" of eblah, it really has only been made visible to people that visit the forum which is always the best thing to do if you are running eblah.

Actually, I keep that version up to date there, when I do one update, it will update ALL the forums for you, so you shouldn't worry.    Plus, the version there will be diffrent as I had to do various changes to the code and such, so it wouldn't get hacked into .


I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Yeah, I'm using Eblah P7 right now and when I click check version, it said my eblah version is out of date. lol
