what is your reason for not believing there is a God?

Just wanted to say what an amazing acheivement for a 17 year old! You have obviously worked hard and created something truly brilliant!!!  Up until a few weeks ago I didn't even know what a pearl script was!

A little about me - I'm 21 and from Chesterfield in the UK (just near Sheffield). I moved here in 2000 to study for a medical degree. Graduated this year with a degree in medical research and now I'm continuing with medicine and surgery. My interest in education led me to set up a teaching site for medical students and doctors in the field of drug dependence... Thought about a bulletin board and stumbled across E-Blah! What a great forum!

i may as well write a bit. im 14. im from ireland. i think the script is sweet. i tried learning programming a couple of times but i get bored of it.. im able to understand it ok but not the best.
nehow im not a god person but fair enough that u are.
im in 3rd year in school over here.

Justin.  I haven't seen this thread in what seems like ages.

As for me, hrmm.  well.  uhm:

I'm an addict.  lol.  I'm addicted to programming.  Can't get it out of my head.  My favorite language, Perl, is what brought me here.  :P  (that's my 2 cents worth to the other P's in LAMP, lol, jk)

Far as my beliefs, well.  Personally, I think I might be alone in my beliefs (but that's just my opinion. :) )  Sort of a strange cross between Hatha and Raja Yoga / Christianity / Bhuddism / and (potentially) Pre-Druidic beliefs.  It's a /very/ long story... lol.

Anyway.  I see connections in a lot of strange places, so I take it out on my programming.  :D

I don't think my life is as interesting as a lot of yours but here is a little about myself anyway, Here goes.

I am 32 and live in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. I moved here 3 years ago from North Carolina where I had lived since birth (29 years). I own a small web development company that I started back in 1996 and have been doing pretty good with it since. I was raised to be a big game hunter, not an animal killer, if I don't eat it I don't hunt for it. At age 21 I started traveling the US and Canada and have visited every state in the US and several parts of Canada. With doing web development it allows me to be able to work from home and spend more time with my family. I have a wife and 3 children, 13, 9, and 2. We are a very outdoors type of family who enjoys camping, hiking and just taking a ride through the Pocono's, like we did yesterday for about 5 hours looking at the deer and other wildlife. A lot of my hobbies are pretty much the same as my job, web design, graphics and working with photoshop.

Hi, Im a 14 year old addicted to programming and computers in general. I am currently programming in 16 different languages doing some projects and stuff for others. I am shy and get embarresed very easily. I prefer to stay indoors and progam most of the time and just work on things. I am currently building my 5th forum lol.

Unfortunately i dont believe in God, well not until there is proof or i get some sort of sign. I dont really believe in anything at the moment
