This board is for install issues, bug reports, basicaly anything that needs reporting. Hope you like e-dir! There may or may not be other versions of this script.

Wow, this is a nice script.

Hi Justin,

Sorry but I do not really understand how we can apply this to use.

Ummmm ... when you don't have a index.php file, it will display a list of files in the directory.

Search for:

Code
      if($entry != '.' && $entry != '..') {

Replace with:

Code
      if($entry != '.' && $entry != '..' && $entry != 'index.php') {

Very usefull script!!!, but I got some problems:

1.- I don't get icons to work properly, unless I copy them with index.php and change path to: $images = ".";

2.- When index.php is not in the served folder (for example: $directory = "../../../upload";) I get this error from the script: There was an error You have been denied access to: "../../../upload/"

Any idea about what's going wrong?

Thank you very much and GOOD WORK!

# 2 -- Use full paths, not ../, this method is insecure.

# 1 -- Use the full http:// path to the images (without the trailing slash).

How do I fix it?  I didn't mess with your coding at all, I just placed it in the directory as it's said to...

Thanks!

In your PHP configuration, change this:

register_globals = Off

to:

register_globals = On

If it's not listed, just add it.

I change the php.ini file in the "C:\WINDOWS" directory right?  That's what I did, and it still does the same thing

I'm sorry to be a bother... if there is anything else, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hey its just a notice and u can turn that off in ur ini file or include this code

// no errors will be reported
error_reporting(0);

and the warning are because you should use the start_session before any other code.

i.e no html code should be before that put that in the first line of your index,php
