How can we back date messages in the discussion forum. Please help.

I need this feature, because, I would like to track history of a planning process for one of the projects. It would be great, if I cuodl post messages and back date them to rtepresent exactly when it took place.

Please help...

You have to edit the board index and message file.  How you do that ... I'd have to look at the database and tell you ... I don't have that here.

I would greatly appreciate if you can tell me how to 'back date messages' posted in the discussion forum. I need to start working on a project, that requires me to enter in some back dated data. Please help!!
