E-Blah Member Posts: 90 Posts Per Day: 0.04	Is there a way to have the news script just give a snipit of information from a post in a board that is defined in the news script? My site does news and articles but I cannot display our full articles on the mainpage becuase they are too long. Could the News script just display an admin defined amount of lines and then have a "for full story click here" link? If you don't understand what I mean you can goto www.mtgnews.com to see what I mean.

E-Blah Member Posts: 90 Posts Per Day: 0.04	Justin, I tried changing the variable in News.pl and it had no effect on the portal. I think the variable needs to be added to the news script in Portal.pl but I am not quite sure how to do this, but I will do some tests later and tell you how I am coming along.

E-Blah Member Posts: 90 Posts Per Day: 0.04	I did it. Wasn't really hard just took some patience. I have a few more things I want to do and I want to wait until 2.8 is released but once that is done I will will send you my hacked files to see if you want to use them.
